The 9th Annual Native American Indian Powwow was held on Saturday, December 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, University of Maryland.

The University of Maryland community has embraced the event as being one of the most successful social action programs that has been long overdue. Native American Indians come from far and near to celebrate the wonderful history, dancing, drumming, singing and fellowship with others. The educational and art vendors have the most outstanding information and native made artifacts that are sold at reasonable prices. The event is hosted by the  University of Maryland's Office of Multi-ethnic Studen Education and the American Indian Student Union (AISU).

Facebook Trivia Question: Which Native American tribe is well-known for their Kachina dolls?
