Each fall, the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education hosts the “Unity Welcome.” The Unity Welcome provides an opportunity to welcome the campus' more than 8000 multi-ethnic students back to school in fun, festive manner. Students are introduced to the vast array of programs and services at the University of Maryland which support their personal and academic development.  Campus departments and student organizations are invited to participate in the information fair portion of the event, while entertainment is provided by students at the University of Maryland.
